The saddest words you’ll speak

“Daily decisions determine destiny,” is a mantra of Thomas S. Monson. The truth iterates that our lives move on such small hinges, but the outcome for us and others swings wide. Negative mindsets can destroy the peace and progress we want to make.  We are given daily to choose and the help from heaven to choose wisely, it’s in your spiritual DNA…

What are the most pathetic, the saddest, most sinister words in the English language? John Greenleaf Whittier answers:

For of all sad words of tongue or pen,

The saddest are these:

It might have been!

It’s a basic principle that a lesson (in life) is repeated until learned. We can hasten the learning and growth by taking inventory of our lives.

There may be other nominations for the saddest expression, but it doesn’t have to be permanently engraved on our lives or the character we become. Choose today to remove the word impossible and others we don’t want to hear ourselves regretfully utter in the future. Tomorrow can have less “might have been’s” if we faithfully learn, love, and live the Gospel

What are the your saddest expressions in your life and what are you doing not to repeat them?
